TomTom Assist is another way TomTom makes driving safer, less stressful and saves
customers money. With our lowest cost policy you don’t get a hotel with cooked breakfast,
a taxi home or aeroplane tickets for eight people. You do get a neat policy from
two of the world’s leading navigation and assistance companies, to get you and your
passengers sorted if you need assistance at the roadside in the UK.
TomTom Assist benefits include: Roadside assistance, local recovery, glass replacement
and message relay.
• Roadside assistance
If your car stops and it’s not supposed to we’ll send an expert to repair it. If
we can’t get you moving in 30 minutes we’ll get you and the vehicle to the nearest
suitable garage for repair. It’s not much fun but with a £150 Highways Agency statutory
removal charge from a motorway, you’ll be pleased you don’t need to take care of
it yourself.
• Vehicle recovery
Car broken or immobilised? We’ll get it to the nearest suitable garage if we can’t
fix it. You might get a hot drink too but we can’t guarantee it.
• Glass replacement
If you or anyone driving the insured vehicle experiences a broken windscreen or
someone decides to smash the window, we’ll give you details of someone who can help.
We won’t cover the costs of replacements as these may be covered under your motor
insurance.
• Message relay service
If you or a passenger needs it, we’ll pass on urgent messages to family, business
or friends if you’ve been delayed. At least they'll know that you're okay.
