TomTom Assist Plus Europe is our top of the range policy and provides our most comprehensive level of benefits and big savings compared with similar products from the major motoring Clubs and Associations.

In addition to TomTom Assist Plus, benefits include: European benefits – assistance and recovery, onward travel, vehicle repatriation, hotel accommodation, temporary replacement vehicle and UK car hire.

 

• European benefits assistance and recovery
If you have reached your destination - in France with the family or a meeting in Milan, your TomTom Assist Plus Europe policy will give you assistance and peace of mind, from home and across 34 EU member states. Tres bon, sehr gut, molto bene.

• Onward travel
If our expert can't repair your vehicle it's not good, but we'll organise and pay for rail transport (or equivalent costs of more convenient travel), get you and up to seven passengers home in the UK or on to your original destination within Continental Europe.

• Vehicle repatriation
If your car can't be repaired within eight hours, we can arrange for your car to be taken to the nearest repair garage to your home in the UK. It could cost over £2K to simply transport your car back from France.

• Hotel Accommodation
If your vehicle is immobilised for longer than eight hours, we'll organise and pay for hotel bed and breakfast accommodation for up to a maximum of five nights. Sorry, we don't know if they have a pool.

• Temporary replacement vehicle
If your car is immobilised for a period of more than eight hours, we'll pay for the cost of a temporary replacement vehicle, for as long as long as it's immobilised, up to seven days. Yes, we're afraid you do have to give it back.

• UK car hire
In the UK (if your vehicle is recovered and we still can't fix it) you can get into a rental car after only four hours. It probably won’t be an Aston Martin or Range Rover mind.
